EEC Lincolne Scott was commissioned to carry out the full civil, structural and MEP design services design documentation for the extensions to the Beiersdorf Factory located in Bang Phli, Thailand.

The design had to reflect the very stringent Beiersdorf quality requirements for the electrical, fire alarm, communications, mechanical ventilation, air conditioning, fire sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, sanitary drainage, process water and compressed air systems.

Part of the design process included value engineering and involved the presentation of alternative design arrangements to the Beiersdorf specification. These changes provided significant cost saving without compromising the integrity of the Beiersdorf specification intent.

The extension allowed an increased in capacity of almost double the current production to date.

The Beiersdorf factory produces skincare products for NIVEA for local and export markets.
